Get the most out of this workshop by doing a little research & bringing a few ideas of your own.

Become an expert In The State Of Inclusive playgrounds in your area

Does your community already have an inclusive playground? How inclusive is it truly? If there are a few, what area of town makes the most sense for a new one? How close are they to children’s hospitals, schools, mass transportation???

Bring ideas for a site

Based on your research above, bring maps of your town and highlight the proposed site(s) so we can help you decide which one(s) make the most sense.

Begin reaching out

Contact decision makers in your community, including mayors, park and city commissioners, etc. If we’ve learned anything, the higher up the decision tree your support runs, the better!
